The frame of the house from outside has a very neat structure, the windows boxes have framed structure. In the early part of twentieth century, it was taken over by Ernest Clarke and subsequently named after him. A gracefulness envelops the hotel and even after much of modifications, the house still holds to the character and warmth of an English country inn.
