If you have not paid a visit to this country before, then make it a point to visit it during this vacation. Vietnam is situated in South East Asia and covers an area of 325,359 sq. km. The countries that border it include Cambodia in the southwest, Laos in the northwest, China in the north and South China Sea in the east. Vietnam's political capital is Hanoi while its economic capital is Ho Chi Minh City. Due to varied topography, the climate tends to be different at different places. However, in general, the country experiences a tropical climate. The cool dry season extends from November to April while monsoons wet the land between May to October.

Apart from the Dau Pagoda - cradle of Vietnamese Buddhism, other worth visiting pagodas include Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, Giac Vien Pagoda, Bich Dong Pagoda, An Quang Pagoda, Phat Tich Pagoda and Ba Danh Pagoda. A number of other pagodas and Buddhist temples and monuments will make a Buddhist visit trip to the country worthwhile.
