Quiet closeby is another village by the name of Tetrawan which is attractive for Buddhist tourists because of the wonderful assortment of the statues of the Buddha and Bodhisattvas.

- Nawada : The place is home to a small museum which houses a
few statues of the Buddha found in the area. The museum is open from 10
am to 5 pm everyday except Monday.
- Pawapuri : Pawapuri, 5 km from Ghorswan, is a sacred
destination for the Jain community. Lord Mahavira, the last tirthankara
and the founder of Jainism, died at this place. After he was cremated,
there was a surge of people who wanted his ashes. So much so, that the
soil of the place where his funeral pyre was burnt was removed in large
number paving way for a water tank. In the middle of this tank, a marble
temple, Jalmandir was constructed. This temple, along with another Jain
temple, Samosharan, attracts large number of Jain devotees to Pawapuri.
- Rajgir :
Rajgir is also of tremendous importance to the Buddhist since at this
place the Buddha delievered a number of His sermons during His 12 years
stay. Buddhist attractions here include Griddhakuta or Venture's Peak,
Venuvana, Sattapani Caves, Jivika Mango Garden, Karnada Tank and
Buddha's sculpture.

By Air - Patna Airport is the nearest one to
reach Ghosrawan by air.
By Road - Ghosrawan can be reached from Rajgir. Move south form Rajgir, cross Hisua and then take a left to Nawada. From Nawada, move to north to Pawapuri, from Pawapuri, not so good roads connect to Ghosrawan.
